GR Pressure Sensor is located near the EGR Valve mounted to the intake
manifold or Location:
The firewall EGR Valve Pressure Sensor (EVP)
Differential Pressure Feedback EGR Sensor (DPFE)
What It Does: The EGR Pressure Sensor monitors the pressure within the EGR system. The
computer makes ignition timing and injector pulse width adjustments based on this
information. This sensor is also used to monitor the EGR system operation for trouble code
identification.
Failure Symptoms: Malfunction Indicator Light illumination, failed emission test , engine surging, poor fuel mile
